Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Redline Creative Industries (PTY) Ltd (“Redline Creative”, “we”, “us” or “our”) website and the services we provide.

By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Our Services

Redline Creative provides website design, website development, eCommerce development, WordPress and WooCommerce development, hosting and related technical services.

The exact services, features, deliverables, pricing and project requirements applicable to a particular client will be set out in the relevant quotation, proposal, service agreement or other written agreement.

Where a signed or otherwise accepted service agreement contains terms that differ from these Terms & Conditions, the terms of that agreement will apply to that project.

2. Quotes & Project Scope

Quotes are based on the requirements known at the time of quotation.

Any functionality, design work, content work, integrations, development or other services not specifically included in the agreed scope may be quoted separately.

Additional work will only be undertaken once the additional requirements and associated costs have been agreed upon.

3. Payments

Payments are due according to the payment schedule agreed for the applicable project.

Where a payment becomes overdue, Redline Creative may suspend development, services, access or delivery until outstanding amounts have been paid. Any resulting delays may extend the project timeline.

4. Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for providing accurate information, content, branding materials, account access, approvals and other materials reasonably required to complete the project.

Delays caused by missing information, delayed approvals, unavailable accounts, third-party services or other circumstances outside Redline Creative’s reasonable control may affect the project timeline.

5. Revisions & Approvals

Unless otherwise agreed, design and development work is subject to the revision limits specified in the applicable quotation or service agreement.

Once a project phase has been approved, subsequent changes to that phase may be charged separately.

Approvals and project instructions should be provided in writing via email or an agreed messaging channel.

6. Ownership & Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, the Client receives ownership of the completed website and custom development work produced specifically for that Client, excluding third-party software and Client-provided materials.

Redline Creative retains ownership of its pre-existing code, frameworks, development methods, reusable components, tools, libraries and other intellectual property used in the development process.

WordPress, WooCommerce, plugins, themes, fonts, stock assets and other third-party materials remain subject to their respective licences and terms.

Until all applicable project payments have been received, Redline Creative may retain ownership and control of the completed work.

7. Third-Party Services

Websites may rely on third-party services such as hosting providers, payment gateways, domain registrars, WordPress, WooCommerce, plugins, APIs, email services and other platforms.

Third-party accounts, subscriptions, licences and fees are generally the responsibility of the Client unless otherwise agreed.

Redline Creative does not control the pricing, availability, policies, functionality or continued operation of third-party services.

8. Project Completion

A project is considered complete when the agreed design and development work has been completed and the agreed deliverables have been provided.

The Client’s subsequent addition of content, products, images or other materials does not delay completion where the agreed development work has already been completed.

9. Cancellations

If a Client cancels a project after work has commenced, payments relating to completed or commenced work are generally non-refundable. Any outstanding amounts relating to work already completed or committed to may remain payable.

Specific cancellation rights required by applicable law are not excluded by this clause.

10. General

Redline Creative reserves the right to display completed projects in its portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. The version applicable to a particular project will generally be the version incorporated into the relevant agreement.
