This policy explains how Redline Creative Industries (PTY) Ltd (“Redline Creative”) generally handles website design, development, eCommerce projects and related services.
Website projects may include custom design and development using WordPress, WooCommerce and other appropriate technologies.
The exact pages, functionality, integrations and deliverables included in a project will be specified in the applicable quotation or service agreement.
Unless specifically included, additional functionality, integrations, content creation, product uploads, advanced features and third-party services may be charged separately.
Where a project includes a design phase, the Client will be given an opportunity to review and approve the proposed design.
The number of concepts and revision rounds will depend on the agreed project scope.
Major redesigns or additional concepts outside the agreed scope may incur additional charges.
The Client is responsible for supplying accurate text, images, product information, prices, branding and other content unless content creation or product entry has specifically been included in the project.
For eCommerce websites, the Client remains responsible for product selection, descriptions, pricing, stock information, fulfilment, shipping and other business operations.
eCommerce websites may be developed using WooCommerce and relevant payment, shipping and other third-party services.
Redline Creative provides the technical implementation of these services but does not operate the Client’s business or act as the Client’s payment processor, supplier, courier or fulfilment provider.
The Client is responsible for ensuring that their products, pricing, taxes, shipping arrangements, returns, refunds and business practices comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Third-party costs are separate from Redline Creative’s development fees unless expressly stated otherwise.
These may include domain registration, hosting, plugins, licences, payment gateway fees, email services, APIs and other subscriptions.
Third-party pricing and terms may change without notice and are controlled by the respective providers.
Where hosting is provided by Redline Creative, the hosting service is subject to the applicable hosting plan and payment terms.
Shared hosting resources are subject to reasonable usage limits. Websites experiencing unusually high traffic, storage requirements or server usage may require an upgraded hosting plan.
If hosting is cancelled or terminated, the Client is responsible for arranging alternative hosting. Website backup files and reasonable migration instructions may be provided where applicable.
Additional migration, restoration or technical assistance may be charged separately.
Support included with a project or hosting plan is limited to the services expressly stated in the applicable agreement.
Technical defects directly attributable to Redline Creative’s development work may be addressed within the applicable support period.
New features, design changes, content changes, Client modifications, third-party service problems and issues caused by third-party updates may be charged separately.
Project timelines are estimates and depend on timely Client feedback, approvals, content, account access and payments.
Delays caused by the Client, third-party providers or circumstances outside Redline Creative’s reasonable control may extend the estimated completion date.
Requests outside the agreed project scope will be assessed and quoted separately.
No additional work requiring a separate charge will normally commence until the Client has agreed to the additional cost.
A website is considered ready for final delivery once the agreed development work has been completed.
For eCommerce websites, the website does not need to contain the Client’s entire final product catalogue for development to be considered complete unless product uploads were specifically included in the agreed scope.
The Client remains responsible for the ongoing operation, management and content of their website and business unless separate ongoing services have been agreed with Redline Creative.
